Job Description

This is a pivotal role within MSF UK & IE, ensuring the People Services team operate as a robust customer centric support service. As part of the People Directorate, this role will support the people services team to deliver excellent end-to- end employee lifecycle support, from onboarding to offboarding, that is cohesive, collaborative and inclusive. This role supports MSF UK and the People Directorate by proactively contributing to the overall employee experience.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Duration: Fixed-Term (12 months)

Location: London - hybrid (2 days per week in office including Wednesdays)

Salary: £31,870.09 per annum

Qualifications

  • Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or part qualified) or equivalent qualification / experience (Desirable).
  • GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English.
  • Demonstrable experience in a People Services environment (payroll, recruitment and generalist HR).
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting projects and initiatives.
  • Evidence of communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation to engage and support. 
  • The ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external / third-party suppliers.
  • Experience using HRIS including data entry and report running and data analysing 
  • Demonstrable commitment to the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion and their practical application and integration in the work environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Genuine interest in and commitment to the aims and values of Médecins Sans Frontières.
  • Experience in the practical use of personal IT equipment and Microsoft Office 365 suite. The ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a hybrid working environment utilising Teams, SharePoint, One Drive and Yammer.
